If you’d like to donate your leftovers, we’ll be taking them to feed some neighbors nearby. At this time, we can only accept donations of hot food and deserts (e.g. no salads, chips). We will have some clean takeout containers to transfer food to, but you’re also welcome to bring your food in a container you don’t need back!

We want to let folks know that we do take photos at our events to help us spread the word about the potluck. We use use them on our website, newsletter, and Instagram. Children’s faces will always be blurred on our social media, and if for any reason you’d like us to also blur out your face, please reach out and let one of the organizers know via emailing ballardsolidarity206@proton.me and we will do our best to protect your privacy. (Please note, that other neighbors may take/post photos.)

You’re welcome to contribute to two mutual aid efforts on Saturday:

1. If you’d like to donate your leftovers, we’ll be taking them to Ballard Commons Park to feed some neighbors there. We will have some clean takeout containers to transfer food to, but you’re also welcome to bring your food in a container you don’t need back!
2. The Ballard Mutual Aid group is collecting winter clothing to be distributed to our unhoused neighbors. If you have any adult-sized, gently used winter clothing you no longer need, bring it to the potluck! Clothing items most needed are coats, hats, gloves, socks, sweaters, etc. Both masculine and feminine are needed. Please bag all your items.
